Aunt Jemima Croissant

Holy shlamoley, it’s been ages since I’ve posted- oh well, owning a home throws you lots of unexpected surprises sometimes and I’ve just been plain busy. But fret not, I have plenty of breakfast goodness (or not) to share…

I saw this at the grocery store last week and snapped a shot-

Aunt Jemima Croissant

I dunno ’bout you, but if I’m going to have something like this, I’d rather make it myself or have one hand made for me…

Out of curiosity, I flipped the box around to check out nutritional info:

I think that’s about what you’d expect for something like this. That long list of ingredients is kinda scary though :-/

Well spring time is here and the mountains of snow around me are slowly melting away– I’m dying to eat outside again. Let’s hear it for some spring time breakfast adventures!

croissants should not come from a box in the freezer. Its wrong, immoral even.

Immoral. I don’t think that is the word that you are looking for. I tried one today. Sure they are full of fat and salt but they are good. The same as Burger King. As for croissants comming from a box in the freezer. That is very common. Some 5 star hotels serve frozen croissants.
