Ya know what I love? A big hot bowl of cream of wheat with LOTS of lumps in it.

Ya know what I DON”T Love? Having to scrub the lumpy cream of wheat pot after.

Have not had cream of wheat in years.
I hope you put some brown sugar on that too.

Amen to that. Lumpy cream of wheat is the only way to have cream of wheat.

I went out and bought some CoW today just to see what the hooplah is all about… Az, I’ll call you this weekend, maybe you can give me some tips and tricks ;-)

OK cream of wheat just wouldn’t be right without the lumps! But, have you ever tried adding a few drops of almond extract? YUM! I always add the almond and a little sugar and milk and if I am feeling really sassy I will blend up some canned apricots with some sugar ’til realy smooth and drizzle it over the top. Super YUM!

I love CoW, and like you, do not like scrubbing the pan..so I don’t..what I DO is to put it IMMEDIATELY in COLD WATER to soak.. after about an hour, rinse it out with warm water and soap and it will clean up nicely.

Same here! I totally use it as an excuse to put off doing the dishes…”I can’t really even FINISH the washing up until the cream of wheat pan has soaked for a good…I don’t know, six hours? It would just make more SENSE to wait until then to do it!”
