Dorothy: you know what, I think you are right! I had stopped doing the "after" pictures a long time ago but gave in when I had found the pictures shown above in an old folder. I just thought it was funny that everything pictured had stayed in the same place except for the meal itself.

Anyway, as for me, you won't be seeing those "after" pictures anymore. As for the other breakfast bloggers, it is up to them!

Cheers!

Hello, I enjoy your blog very much and since breakfast is my favorite meal every picture and just wonderful.....except one aspect. I don't get showing the dirty dishes afterward. It is unappetizing. Your photography is so exqusit and I love how each black pepper flake is so clear. Just as I am getting high on the fantasy of actually being there then suddenly there is the dirty dish. I come crashing down and yuck I cringe. I like to leave your blog feeling good and not like eww cold yolk stained dishes. Just my two cents not worth the cyberspace it is written on. Gosh, I am such a loyal watcher of your site, it has been on my favorite-Favorites for so long, I shock myself that my very first comment is a criticism! I'm terrible. I'm terrible.

My dear Dr. P I am sorry to say this is likely the most boring breakie post I have ever seen on your otherwise very fine site. The two little sausage look sad, the home fries look just ordinary and the eggs do not even have the usual generous sprinkling of pepper. But when all is said and done, yes, I would still eat it.
