There is a donut shop in Portland Oregon named Voodoo donut. They have a 'maple bacon' donut. It is the most wonderful and delicious thing on the planet. I've woken up at 2am and driven to get one just because it reminds me of the bacon waffles my aunt used to make. I'm just going to assume that your bacon pancakes were just as delicious.
