I tried the new breakfast thing at Tim Hortons near where I work (I think we’re a test market) and was pretty grossed out. I wouldn’t feed this thing to my dog. This egg mcmuffin knockoff was just salty and nasty. And to top it off they managed to burn it too. Bleah :P

I had one and I thought the biscuit was a nice touch. They didn’t burn mine, though.

Despite your warning I had to try it because I could not resist the idea of a biscut. You were right it was horrid!!! Too salty and it was pepperie too! Probably whatever they put in the little fabricated sausage thing. YUCK!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I wrote a blog about this a couple weeks ago and it seemed from any mentions on the internet and among friends that people actually liked this. I’m glad you’ve taken a stand against this monstrosity:)

Wow, I’m amazed at how many people admit liking this BUSCUIT stuff. Used to be that buscuits (pronounced with a southern drawl) are offered routinely in USA. Remember when Kentucy Fried Chicken was serving Grecian Bread in Canada and Buscuits in the USA? I’m guessing it is American influence that is introducing the Buscuit in Canada for Timmy’s. Personally, I hate these Buscuits. Seems they turn into oatmeal as soon as they touch saliva. Dry, crumbly, leaves the mouth full of flour mush looking for liquid to wash it away. I tried this new Timmy’s breakfast. Very flat looking and I was disappointed…. I didn’t realize it was buscuit till I bit into it. Two thumbs down. Perfection is the McMuffin.
