Green Tabasco on eggs

green tabascoMaybe you weren’t expecting to see something like this on a breakfast blog, but I’ve gotta tell ya, I’m in love with Green Tabasco on eggs. There’s just nothing quite like it. It’s the milder, jalapeño version of the world famous Tabasco sauce and I can’t get enough of it. I tend to use it when I make my Peabody Specials (a super breakfast sandwich that I will feature here soon) and it’s also great on Eggs Benedict.

Here’s my Tabasco bottle collection. I’m trying to see how much Tabasco one person can consume in a lifetime:

Tabasco Collection

I started that collection a few years ago. In other breakfast blogger news, I want to say welcome to all the visitors from stumbleupon.com! Keep on stumblin’!!!

You should try Frontera Jalapeno Hot Sauce, (5 oz. bottles)
It is spicier with great flavor as well. I buy these 6 at a time since I have been known to use a 1/2 bottle on a burrito at a time.

    Nice site, I stumbledupon it.

hehe… my Dad used to pour Tabasco on practically everything he ate. Be careful with it, don’t overdo it, ’cause over time it can have some undesirable effects. by the way, I came by way of Stumble Upon. :)

You’re a pussy for using the green stuff. Grow a pair and use the red bottle.

All those empty bottles are of the red stuff :P I just tried the green stuff as an alternative and found that it was damn tatsy..

Tom: I prefer farm-fresh or organic, but often get the regular “omega-3″ types that are very popular these days.
